Dictaphone for iOS7

A couple of weeks ago I was wondering if the silence skipping DSP technology in RSSRadio could be used for realtime recording.

Well it can and it works really well, so i'm happy to present a totally free app - "Dictaphone for iOS7"

RSSRadio7 - Backing Up

RSSRadio7 keeps all its information in a database. This information can be quite precious if you have more than a couple of subscriptions:

• RSSRadio settings
• Listened / Unlistened state for your Podcasts
• Show metadata which may not still be available in the Podcast feed

I recommend backing up this data to Dropbox.

To ensure your latest show listened state and subscription settings are continuously backed up you can turn on the sync. I previously wouldn't recommend this with iCloud syncing as iCloud is not that reliable but now Dropbox is supported its well worth everyone having this switched on.

RSSRadio7 - 1.15.3 - Fixing Bugs

RSSRadio7 1.15.3 is now available for download. On this version i'm taking a break from adding lots of new features and concentrating on fixing bugs. 

• - bug fixes
• - you can long press on a subscription in the podcasts screen to “quick play” unlistened shows
• - some performance fixes for iPad users with lots of data
• - video playback on the iPad has on screen volume control
• - work around for the Pebble smart watch not being able to pause 2x playback 

RSSRadio7 - 1.15.2 - Norwegian and Dutch

You can now find RSSRadio7 1.15.2 for download from the App Store.

As well as the usual round of bug fixes and trying to streamine things, 1.15.2 is localised into Norwegian and Dutch, Welcome Norway and Netherlands!

Other new features of note:

• You can copy the default settings to existing subscriptions, and reset the the settings for an individual subscription
• New App badge option - "Shows found since last app open"

RSSRadio7 - 1.14.1 - Responding to Feedback

RSSRadio7 1.14.1 is now available for update. This update brings some important changes to the interface of RSSRadio7.

Over the last month I have been talking to RSSRadio users, and more importantly i have been listening. As a result of gathering this feedback I have made some these changes to the interface.

I think this is a great improvement, and I have some more great changes coming in 1.15.
